The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 is an economic stimulus package enacted by the 111th United States congress and signed into law by the President. Section 1605 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) establishes a "Buy American" requirement for federal, state, and local government projects funded with ARRA stimulus money.
